What is The McKenzie Method®?

It has been widely used all over the world for more than 60 years.

Does the McKenzie Method® work?

Although we are not formally trained in The McKenzie Method® we have been trained by a 3rd party instructor who has successfully used this method for years. From our experience, The McKenzie Method® works best for neck pain, back pain, and sciatica, lumbar radiculopathy, cervical radiculopathy pain stemming from degenerative disc disease, a herniated disc, or spinal stenosis.

How does the McKenzie Method® work?

The McKenzie Method® works by first identifying a movement derangement. Better said, we want to first identify which direction of movement causes the pain. Once identified, we use a variety of movements to start changing the pain felt. It is beyond the scope of this page to go into detail further than that. However, most people who suffer from pain have sensitivity in a specific direction. The McKenzie Method® works to change that sensitivity.
